Clematis Sprinkler Heads

The LR Nelson Corporation, based in Peoria, Illinois has been manufacturing sprinklers since 1911.  Design has always been important in distinguishing their products from the competition.  They had worked with Fisher Design on a lot of new product development over the years, and came to us with a project involving designing sprinkler components that fit in with nature.  I worked with David Schwanemann to produce sketches and renderings of concepts for this project.

The clematis concept that we produced was selected to be modeled for company review, focus group testing, etc.  Here are the final models of our designs:
